1. Inorganic salts: aluminum salts (such as aluminum sulfate, aluminum chloride), iron salts (such as ferric sulfate, ferric chloride) and their polymers (such as polyaluminum chloride PAC, polyferric sulfate PFS).
2. Polymer flocculants: such as polyacrylamide (PAM), are classified into cationic type, anionic type and nonionic type.
3. Organic polymers: such as organic polyaluminium, etc.
4. Binder-type coagulants
5. This type of coagulant is mainly used in fields such as ceramics, glass and ores, including silicate binders, phosphate binders, sulfate binders, etc.

7. It is mainly used in the fiber dispersion and paper preparation processes in the papermaking industry, including precipitating coagulants, polymer coagulants, cationic coagulants, etc.

9. It is specifically used for wastewater treatment and waste gas treatment, including flocculants, desulfurizers, denitrifiers, etc.
10. Concrete coagulant
11. This type of coagulant can be classified into coagulants, water reducers, air pore agents, retarders, antifreeze agents, etc.

In practical applications, the appropriate coagulant is usually selected based on the specific properties of the sewage and the target pollutants to be removed. For instance, for wastewater containing a relatively high concentration of organic matter, polyacrylamide (PAM) might be chosen as the coagulant. For wastewater containing a relatively high amount of metal ions, aluminum or iron salt coagulants may be selected.
